When the usual approach Isn't the Right Approach
Children with dyslexia, difficulty with focus or organization, weaknesses in memory or math, or who become anxious learn best when their strengths are identified so they can be taught through their stronger learning channels while building-up their weaker learning abilities. I identify each student's learning style and level to teach what they are ready to learn in ways they learn best, to experience success and reach their full academic potential.
Math
For students K-7 struggling to master math concepts or to learn the many facts and processes involved in math through Algebra 1.
Organization & Study
For students with deficits in attention and others who need to learn efficient ways to organize their schoolwork and to study efficiently.

"Your support and dedication and desire to not give up on her, but to acturally push her harder, will benefit her throughout her entire life."

Thomas had been struggling with math and had an even tougher time reading. He was suffering from low self esteem, resulting in a pretty unhappy situation...the more time we spent working with him the worse it got. Rick Mason turned out to be the person we needed. His program worked. We now have a happy, confident and enthusiastic boy who can read and write.
